Title:
Practical Precision Agriculture

Abstract:
This presentation will cover the current operational state of Precision Agriculture Systems and where we
are heading. The session will cover GNSS, Guidance Systems, Technical and Market Conditions, Future
Systems and Farm Management Systems. Focus will be on what’s available now and likely to be
available in the next 3‐5 years.

Bio:
Mike Dentinger is the Marketing Director for Agriculture OEM Products at Trimble. He was previously
Director of Engineering for Trimble’s Agriculture Division and has been with Trimble 25 years, the last
seven in the Agriculture Division. Mr. Dentinger’s background is in hardware design and development
with a specialty in Global Navigation Satellite Systems, Military GPS and RF & Microwave
Communications. He has a BSEE & MSEE from the University of California, Davis. He is a member of the
Leadership Board for the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at UC Davis.
